Hops: side-to-side
Beginner30 secondsJumping
How to do it
- Stand with your feet close together, arms up in a loose, relaxed guard.
- Hop a small distance to one side, landing light on the balls of your feet, then hop straight back the other way - bouncing side to side over an imaginary line in a steady rhythm.
- Your feet can land naturally, one a beat ahead of the other; what matters is staying springy, landing soft, and keeping the lateral rhythm going.
