Deep squat hold
Intermediate30 secondsNo jumping
How to do it
- Squat all the way down until your glutes are close to your heels, keeping both feet flat on the floor.
- Bring your palms together in front of your chest and let your elbows rest lightly against the insides of your knees, gently nudging them outward.
- Keep your chest lifted and your back as straight as the position allows, and settle in.
- This is how humans rested long before chairs - the hold rebuilds ankle, hip and knee mobility that sitting quietly takes away.
