Balance hold
Beginner30 secondsNo jumping
How to do it
- Stand on one leg, lift your other foot off the floor behind you with the knee bent, and extend both arms straight out to the sides like wings.
- Then simply stay there.
- Your standing foot makes dozens of tiny corrections every second to keep you upright - that invisible work is the whole exercise, and it sharpens the balance everything else in your training quietly depends on.
- Keep your eyes fixed on a point ahead of you, complete the hold, then switch legs.
