Handstand with posterior pelvic tilt facing the wall
Advanced10 repsNo jumping
How to do it
- Stand with your back to a wall or wall bars.
- Place your hands on the floor and get into a push up position with your feet near the wall.
- Walk up the wall by stepping your feet upward and bringing your hands closer until you are in a handstand facing the wall.
- Contract your abs, hamstrings, and glutes at the same time to rotate your hips backward, eliminating the lumbar curvature (posterior pelvic tilt) for at least a couple of seconds.
- Return your hips to their natural position to complete one repetition.
- To better understand the technique, when you go back to the initial position exaggerate the opposite movement, maximizing your lumbar curvature (anterior pelvic tilt).
- This way, you will clearly feel the difference between the two positions.
