Forward bends
Beginner10 repsNo jumping
How to do it
- Stand with your feet hip-width apart, knees slightly bent, and place your hands behind your head, elbows out wide.
- Hinge forward at the hips, pushing them back as your torso lowers toward parallel with the floor, keeping your back long and flat the whole way down.
- Rise back up by driving the hips forward, not by pulling with your lower back.
- Also known as Good Mornings - the movement of someone bowing politely, done with far more purpose.
