Wide full planche
Advanced30 secondsNo jumping
How to do it
- Get into a plank position with your hands set wider than usual, about twice the width of your shoulders.
- Keep your elbows locked and your scapulae protracted.
- Raise your feet and shift your weight forward with your legs together until you find the balance point, keeping your body tight and your shoulders stable throughout the position.
- Align your hips with your shoulders and ankles, with a slight posterior pelvic tilt and even tension in your core.
- Avoid letting your hips drop or your elbows lose their lockout.
- Always prioritize proper arm placement and scapular stability before increasing hold time.
