One-arm handstand
Advanced10 repsNo jumping
How to do it
- Get into a handstand position with your support hand on the floor or on mini parallettes.
- Shift your weight onto the support hand until your wrist, shoulder, hip, and feet are stacked in a straight line.
- Maintain stability with fine adjustments of your fingers, wrist, and shoulder, avoiding twisting or collapsing on the support side.
- Usually, this variation is easier with your legs apart, as it increases the base of balance, but you can also perform it with your legs together if you have enough control.
- Finish by regaining support with the other hand or lowering with control.
- Prioritize alignment over the duration of the hold.
