O-pose hold
Advanced30 secondsNo jumping
How to do it
- Sit cross-legged with your back tall and lift both arms overhead, curving them into a wide circle with your fingertips meeting above your head - forming the O that gives the pose its name.
- Keep your shoulders drawn down away from your ears while the arms hold their round frame, and sit up as tall as you can inside the shape.
- The hold gently opens the shoulders and chest, stretches the sides of your torso, and asks your posture to do what it should be doing all day anyway.
