Straddle planche on rings with supinated grip
Advanced30 secondsNo jumping
How to do it
- Start in a support position on the rings with a supinated grip, keeping your arms fully extended, elbows locked, and scapulae protracted.
- Make sure the rings are stable and parallel to each other.
- This is your starting position.
- Lean your body forward, shifting your weight onto your hands while lifting your legs off the ground and opening them simultaneously into a straddle position.
- Raise until your body is parallel to the ground, maintaining a slight posterior pelvic tilt to avoid lumbar arching.
- Hold the position for the prescribed time, keeping your elbows locked and controlling the instability of the rings at all times.
- Finally, gently return to the starting position or lower yourself to the ground in a controlled manner.
- Always prioritize technical quality and scapular alignment to prevent injuries and optimize force transfer.
